Abstract

In this lecture series, I will introduce some results on volumes of Hermitian line bundles in Arakelov geometry. The topics include arithmetic Hilbert--Samuel formula, arithmetic Okounkov body, differentiability of the volume function, and equidistribution of small points in algebraic dynamics.
